Introducing Myself

Hi, my name is Jordan. I'm a 21 year old Psychology student from Auckland, NZ. This blog is dedicated to my fitness journey over the course of 2014. I would describe myself as a lifter and a bodybuilding enthusiast. My ultimate goal is to compete in a Figure competition in 2014. Fingers crossed that this blog can keep me motivated, dedicated and accountable to achieve my goal.


First up, some background; I started lifting in 2012 when I began training for a Powerlifting competition. Unfortunately, an injury hindered my Powerlifting progress, so around June 2013, I began training for hypertrophy, basically following a more traditional Bodybuilding routine. In September, I started working with a personal trainer who has competed in NZIFBB competitions to help me hone in on my goal of competing in the Figure Class in 2014.

My Current best lifts are;

  • Squat: 80 kg x 2
  • Bench; 50 kg x 1
  • Deadlift: 112.5 kg x 1
